Deloitte: school start is the second largest shopping season
After Christmas, the period between July and September is the second largest shopping season, and parents have to go deep into their pockets because of the start of school – according to the Deloitte back-to-school shopping survey conducted by Deloitte international consultancy.
Deloitte said in a statement: According to a GKI Digital’s survey, the cost of starting a lower elementary school child reached 48,000 HUF in 2018 and 61,000 HUF for a senior. The parents of those attending secondary and higher education institutions had to spend more on this 68 thousand HUF and 84 thousand HUF. (MTI)
