Winemakers want decentralised marketing strategy
According to the cluster founded in last November, with the participation of the wine regions of Eger, Bükk, Mátraalja and Tokaj; the wine management was not properly in the past, therefore the organization would change the wine marketing fundamentally.
While the producers are paying uniform marketing contributions (ten forints per liter) for their quality wines, the returned marketing contribution rate changes in different wine regions. There are regions where this amount is only fillers, elsewhere the situation is flourishing. The Northern Hungarian Wine Cluster would change this practice – reports Origo.
