Auchan stores will remain open on December 24th, preparing for the holiday season with an extremely wide range of toys and decorations

The holiday season is already in full swing in Auchan stores, welcoming customers nationwide in a Christmas spirit, and the range of Christmas toys and decorations is also extremely wide. The most popular product categories receive special attention during the season, including Christmas decorations, gift-giving supplies, toys, technical items, textile products, and perfumes. This is the busiest period for the chain: during the end-of-year holiday season, the selection is almost twice as large as during the rest of the year.

This year, customers can also choose from an extremely wide range of prices and selection. In the Christmas decoration department, the cheapest balls are available from 30 forints, while the price of premium, special artificial fir trees can climb up to 100 thousand forints. All types of artificial fir trees can be found, from traditional green ones to snowy-effect, pre-decorated or LED-lit versions, and in sizes from 30 to 210 centimeters. Among outdoor lighting, this year, energy-saving LED string lights suitable for decorating houses, with IP65 protection, will receive greater emphasis.

In the toy category, you can find everything from small items costing a few hundred forints to a Barbie house for 139,990 forints, but the highest price level this year is represented by the inflatable massage pool for 649,990 forints. At the same time, Auchan strives to provide a wide range in all price categories – from affordable, budget-friendly products to premium selections.

“Every year during the Christmas period, we experience that many people come to the stores in the last days, even if it is just for a missing little thing or a forgotten gift. At such times, it is especially important that our customers find what they are looking for quickly and conveniently, whether it is perfume, decoration or even a last-minute grocery purchase”

– said Attila Nagy, Sales and Operations Director of Auchan Hungary. “We are waiting for our customers with flexible opening hours in Auchan stores during the holiday season. Most stores will be open until 12:00 on December 24, and we will be closed on December 25 and 26. Customers can find the opening hours of the stores on the Auchan website and on the information signs placed at the entrances of the stores” – added the sales and operations director.

The festive preparations also include a pine tree fair this year, which can be found in the parking lots of Auchan stores. Trees will be available in the parking lots of most Auchan stores from the beginning of December until Christmas, so customers can also purchase holiday decorations for their homes while shopping.
