Bee Festival to debut
The Méhecske Fesztivál (Bee Festival) will be organized for the first time this year on March 17 on Saturday, in Ukk, Veszprém county. The free all-day series of events will be hosted by Szőke András, comedian, actor and star chef Bede Róbert.
Visitors can get acquainted with various arts and crafts, village lifestyle and animals in the craft tent. In the hundred year old oven of the settlement, adults and children can try baking bread. During the festival, the local history exhibitions of Ukk, Taliándörögd Halimba settlements can also be seen, while at the Mézescsupor spot natural medicaments and tea house will await the interested, where Halimba herbal teas will also be offered.
