Scientists from Debrecen to analyse Tokaji wines
As per the agreement between village Mád and University of Debrecen (DE) concluded on Wednesday scientists from Debrecen will be analysing Tokaji wines.
During the press conference after signing the co-operation arrangement including research and education József Tatárka (independent) mayor of Mád stated that it is a long-time desire of their community to scientifically confirm the peculiarity of Tokaji wines. With the assistance of University of Debrecen they would like to prove the uniqueness and positive physiological effects of minerals in these wines which might boost tourism and economic development in the region.
Zoltán Szilvásy, president of DE underlined that objectives of the university's healthcare industry and the idea of the authorities in Mád were converging – in accordance with the agreement – among other things – they will be examining the physiological and medical/biological effects of wines in the area.
