Debrecen will be the guest of honor at the Tiszafüred Halasnapok (Fish Days) between July 7 and 10. The program of the event also includes concerts, a cooking competition, beach football and a flea market.

The announcement of the organizers quotes Széles Diána, deputy mayor of Debrecen (Fidesz-KDNP), who says that Lake Tisza has become one of the popular destinations for tourists from Debrecen. As Lendva Imre y, managing director of the Tisza-VÍZ Víztermelő és Szolgáltató Kft., operator of the open water beach, added: last year, most of the 150,000 visitors to Tiszafüred’s Szabadstrand came from Debrecen.
