Czerván: the sheep and goat sector has a high importance in Hungary
The importance of the sheep and goat sector goes beyond the agricultural sector's role in Hungary. In addition to its economic significance, the social impact also has to kept in mind – Czerván György said.
The Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) responsible for agriculture told in Herceghalom on Monday at the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hungarian Sheep and Goat Breeder Association (MJKSZ) that the sheep sector plays an important role in the employment of the rural workforce, in biodiversity preservation, but also plays a key role in safe food production, healthy high-quality, exportable products production, and tourism as well.
