Spar recalled packaged rice from the market
Spar B quality rice available in 1-kilogram packages with a shelf life of 15 September 2024 has been recalled from circulation by the distribution chain, the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) announced on its website on Monday.
The measure was justified by the cadmium content above the limit value. The supplier of the product is Nagykun 2000 Zrt.
On its website, Spar asks customers not to consume the product due to the food safety risk, the price of which will be refunded in their stores until the end of November.
