The retailer has introduced around 144 organic food items that will be sustainably sold in containers brought by customers or in compostable paper bags.
The products offer includes breakfast cereals such as oatmeal, cornflakes, spelled and millet flakes, and ‘superfoods’ like quinoa, kamut, and amaranth.
Cocoa butter chips, fruit gums, bulgur, couscous, millet, greens, and buckwheat are also a part of the trial.
Tegut has also introduced a range of vegan, fairtrade cosmetics that are free of plastic packaging.
It includes products such as solid shampoo, solid toothpaste, solid deodorant, and solid shaving soap.
