Albert Heijn unveils packaging-free concept
As part of its pledge to cut down on packaging use by 2025, Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has a new shopping concept, which will allow customers to do some of their shopping more sustainably. The retailer is asking customers to use a reusable bag or jar for dry goods, such as muesli, pasta, spreads and tea from dispensers in-store, using a lot less disposable packaging.
