Amazon offers grocery delivery at lower prices in Germany
Amazon announced that it would reduce the monthly membership fee for Fresh in Germany to EUR 7.99 from EUR 9.99, and will also cut the additional delivery fee for orders worth less than EUR 40 to EUR 3.99 from a previous EUR 5.99. Amazon is allowing Prime members to pay EUR 5.99 per delivery without having to sign up for separate Fresh membership and the company is offering a EUR 20 discount for new customers who spend more than EUR 60 and discounts for the first five orders.
