VAT on feminine hygiene products can be reduced in Germany
VAT on women’s hygiene products can be reduced in in Germany – the Federal Parliament (Bundestag) approved a proposal on Thursday.
Legislation on the reduction of VAT on menstruation-related products (Menstruationsprodukte) from 19 percent to 7 percent and other tax changes will still have to be adopted by the Bundesrat, the chamber for legislative cooperation.
