Production price drop

In March 2014 domestic industrial production prices dropped by 0.6 percent on average from the level of the previous month. Domestic industrial sales prices reduced 0.6 percent. In the processing industries prices decreased by 0.3 percent if compared with the previous month. In comparison with March 2013, domestic industrial sales prices contracted by 2.5 percent and prices in the processing industries became 0.3 percent lower in general. The forint weakened by 0.5 percent against the euro but strengthened by 0.7 percent against the dollar in March 2014.
