The turnover of the German breweries decreased
In the first nine months of the year, the turnover of breweries in Germany declined by 3.1 percent with 2.3 million hectoliters, according to data released by Destatis on Monday.
The German breweries sold 72.0 million hectoliters of beer this January to September. The data do not include sales of non-alcoholic beers and beers imported from outside the European Union.
German breweries sold 81.9 percent of their production, 58.9 million hectoliters domestically, 2.7 percent less than a year before. (MTI)
