Euro zone’s retail sales decreased in March
Retail sales declined in the Euro zone and in the EU in March – Eurostat, the EU's statistical office announced on Monday.
In March this year the retail sales in the EU27 decreased by 0.2 percent, while the decline in the European Union was 0.1 percent compared to February.
Compared to February retail sales decreased by 0.2 percent in the Euro zone in March, while in the EU a 0.1 percent increased occurred in retail sales.
Compared to the previous year retail sales decreased by 2.4 percent in the Euro zone in March, and declined by 1.6 percent in the EU. (MTI)
