The German business sentiment index declined in July
The German business sentiment index declined from the previous month's 31.5 points to 29.7 points in July – the Mannheim-based ZEW economic research institute announced on Tuesday.
The long-term average of the index is 24.9 points. Analysts expected 30.0 points in July.
The index asessing the current situation of the economic operators increased by 1.0 points to 63.9 points in July, from the 62.9 points of the previous month. (MTI)
