Retail sales of the Eurozone decreased, while the retail sales of the EU increased in September
The volume of retail sales of the Eurozone declined, while the retail sales of the European Union increased in September on a monthly basis.
The EU's statistical office (Eurostat) reported on Thursday that according to the seasonally adjusted data, the volume of retail sales declined in the 19-membered Eurozone by 0.1 percent in September, compared to the previous month, while on an annual basis, the growth was 2.9 percent.
In the 28-membered European Union, the retail sales grew by 0.3 percent in a monthly comparison and by 3.7 percent on an annual basis in September. (MTI)
