The quarterly income of the world’s largest luxury goods manufacturer, LVMH, decreased
The revenue of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, the world’s largest luxury goods manufacturer, fell by 2 percent to 20.69 billion euros in the first quarter of this year from 21.04 billion euros a year earlier, mainly due to geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
The average of the analysts’ opinion was that the revenue would increase to 21.14 billion euros.
According to data posted on the company’s website on Wednesday, revenue in the fashion and leather goods segment, which brings the most revenue, fell by 2 percent to 10.49 billion euros.
