Tesco’s turnover decreased in the UK
Despite the Christmas shopping season, Tesco reported disappointing sales figures in the United Kingdom: the turnover of stores open for at least a year, fell more than expected, during the six weeks ended on the 7th of January.
Because of the results, the Japanese investment bank Nomura has reduced Tesco’s EPS expectations for the 2012 and 2013 financial years by 9 percent, but analysts continue to recommend the purchasing of the shares of the company – reports portfolio.hu.
