Retail sales decreased in Romania
The volume of retail sales decreased by 4.7 percent in May, compared to the previous month – the Romanian national statistical institute told on Tuesday.
According to the seasonal and calendar adjusted value, the decrease was 1.6 percent. The food, drinks and tobacco sales fell by 11.6 percent, the sales of non-food products declined by 2.5 percent, while fuel sales increased by 3.6 percent compared to April. (MTI)
