Retail sales in Germany fell in March
Retail sales in Germany fell significantly in March due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to preliminary data released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on Thursday, with calendar and seasonal adjustment, retail sales fell by 5.6 percent in real terms and by 5.7 percent in nominal terms in March compared with the previous month. (MTI)
