A decline in the EU's retail sales
The retail sales in the European Union reduced on a monthly basis in September, but increased on an annual basis.
According to the seasonally adjusted data the volume of retail sales in September was 1.3 percent lower in the Euro zone and by 1.2 percent in the European Union in September, compared to August – the statistical office of the EU,. the Eurostat announced on Wednesday.
Compared to last September, sales increased by 0.6 percent in the euro zone and by 1.0 percent in the EU28. (MTI)
