The purchase price of lamb in Italy has fallen
Purchase price per kilo of easter lamb on Italian market reduced by more than half euro after the outbreak, with dealers citing supply, processing, marketing problems – the vice president of the Sheep Product Board told MTI.
Bátor Árpád explained that in January and February the producers still expected favorable Easter prices, and that the panic purchases increase both the quantity and the price, but the current prices are 150-200 HUF lower both at the beginning of the year and 0.4 -0.5 euros lower than last year’s Easter – they added.
