More foreigners, less domestic tourists, declining room prices, stagnant revenues – thus briefly the performance of hotels in Hungary can be described. The guest traffic of the four-star hotels increased, but a decline occurred at the cheap accommodation
According to the Tuesday published datas of the Central Statistical Office; The Hungarian average gross room prices decreased by about 7 percent to 13,971 HUF, between January and August this year, compared to the same period of the previous year.
The revenue of the commercial accomodiations was 86 billion HUF, which is 5 percent less, compared to a year earlier – reports mfor.hu.
