The amount of the food chain supervision fee may decrease
No compromise has been born with Brussels about the degree of the food chain supervision fee, but the new public duty is expected to be lower than the previous – hirtv.hu wrote. It is estimated that 20 billion HUF will flow into the budget.
“For now, we are in negotiations with the European Commission. The European Commission does not support the progressive Food Inspection fees (ie small businesses pay less than the big ones). Now we are in negotiations with the European Commission about what would be the fee that would be acceptable to all”- said Lázár János, Minister leading the Prime Minister's Office. (hirtv.hu)
