Three-quarters of the Czech population will spend their holidays domestically
The survey also shows that Czechs plan to spend an average of 13 days on holiday, with 6,840 crowns (about 90,000 forints) per person, which is 700 crowns more than they planned to spend last year. Almost 40 to 45 percent of the cost goes to accommodation.
The most sought-after accommodation is the boarding house, where 45 percent of people want to spend their vacation, followed by campsites with 29 percent. At the same time, 29 percent of those surveyed said they would stay with relatives or friends or acquaintances during their vacation, Jan Herget, director of CzechTourism, told reporters at a press conference in Prague.
