Czech bakery bought Ceres
Penam, the Czech Republic's second largest bakery bought the Ceres Bakery Zrt and its subsidiary, called Multi. The purchase price was not disclosed by the parties. The sale will enter into force, after the approval of the Czech Competition Authority.
Penam’s business scope significantly expands with the acquisition: Jaroslav Kurcík, the Chief Executive Officer Penam said, that with the business they get the opportunity to participate on the various toast bread tenders of the large supermarket chains, because with the Hungarian plants their capacity increased enough to participate – reports Népszabadság Online.
