The Czech KMV buys the Pepsi’s brand manufacturer in Bulgaria
The Karlovarské Minerální Vody has agreed on the acquisition of the Quadrant Beverages JSC, one of the largest Bulgarian beverage manufacturers – asvanyvizek.hu wrote. The acquisition must still be approved by the Bulgarian Competition Commission, so the transaction is expected to be closed in the first half of 2017.
The Karlovarské Minerální Vody (KMV), which is owned by the Italian Pasquale family, is also present in Hungary. Last year, together with Balogh Levente, they created the Central Europe Mineral Water Holding (CEMW) which in addition to the Szentkirályi Mineral Water also purchased the company bottling the Kékkúti mineral waters, thus becoming the biggest player in the Hungarian mineral water market.
