A Czech company buys the Hungarian sunflower oil manufacturer
The Czech Agrofert Holding owned by Andrej Babis, the Czech Minister of Finance and President of the Yes (ANO) movement buys a Hungarian sunflower oil manufacturer, the NT Kft. – Karel Hanzelka, spokesman of the Agrofert announced in Prague on Tuesday.
The spokesman said that the parties have agreed on the details of the transaction, which still must be approved by the Hungarian Competition Authority.
The Agrofert has several interests in Hungary. The company owns the Ceres bakery, the IKR Agricultural and the Devecser-based Agro Chemical agricultural companies. The Agrofert has interests in Germany, Slovakia and in some other countries as well. (Kokes János, MTI)
