Fraudsters send sms or emails on behalf of Aldi
Fraudsters are sending SMS or email notifications on behalf of Aldi about a package, prize or testing program coming from the retail chain, presumably for phishing purposes – the company informed MTI on Friday.
The announcement emphasized that the company has nothing to do with the text messages and emails sent, so users are asked not to click on the link provided, not to provide their username, password or other personal information. (MTI)
