Nearly 900 billion HUF for agri- and rural development grants in 2018
In next year’s budget, the amount of agricultural and rural development funds is close to 900 billion HUF, 51 billion HUF more than this year – the Minister of Agriculture said at a farm forum in Szatmárcseke, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County on Friday.
Fazekas Sándor said that the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM), which was recently adopted by the National Assembly in 2018, has increased by 10 percent to 209 billion HUF, compared to the previous year. This amount allows the Ministry to spend thirty percent more on school milk and fruit consumption support programs, for example. (MTI)
