Nearly 50 Hungarian wines are competing at the Berlin Wein Trophy competition
Nearly 50 Hungarian wines are competing at the Berlin Wein Trophy (BWT) competition of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine. The biggest wine competition begins on Thursday in the German capital.
The BWT is held since 2004, in a two-round evaluation every year, in February and in July. Organised by the German Wine Marketing Company (DWM) about 10 000 wines are evaluated each year and only up to 30 percent of them are awarded with high gold awards, gold or silver medals. (MTI)
