The foreign trade surplus last year was almost 5 billion euros
The value of exports in euro terms increased by 4.0 percent and imports rose 4.8 percent in 2019, and the foreign trade surplus fell by 4.985 billion euros to 535 million euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
Last year’s export growth rate was slightly different from the previous year’s, when it was 4.1 percent after the 8.3 percent of 2017. The growth rate of the value of imports in euro slowed down significantly from the 7.3 percent of 2018 and the 11.2 percent of 2017. (MTI)
