Only qualified family members can help in food retail
Those food store owners who want to open their shops on Sundays should send their family members back into school – the Népszabadság Online refers to the blokkk.com retail professional blog. The government did not notice that there is a 2007 decree; that only skilled workers can be sellers.
This also applies to the family members who stand behind the counter on Sundays. According to the law on Sunday opening, the small family-owned stores can remain open if the owner or a contributing family member is behind the counter. But according to a 2007 decree, only workers with OKJ qualification can be sellers in food stores. (Népszabadság Online)
