Domestic tourism slowly improves

In January-April 2010 – compared to the same period of last year – the number of guests in commercial accommodation increased by 2, the number of guest nights increased by 3 percent. The turnover at current prices declined by 2 percent.

Compared to the base period, an increase in guest nights occured. But, compared to the performance of 2006 turnover is still lower by 2, compared to the same period of 2008 by 7 percent. The accommodation market is characterized by a decline since the end of 2008.
