Only export amount of corn has grown
It seems that food prices will increase unstoppable until next summer, because due to the drought less grain has grown in Hungary and in the world's major grain-producing areas.
Due to the price increases, the processors will be in a bad position, similar to the consumers and livestock producers, because they cannot expect profits. In Hungary about as much corn has grown as it is exported in a normal vintage year. The Hungarian government has initiated in Brussels, to pay particular attention to the mitigation of the consequences of the drought. (by our colleague)
