Coop Rally: another 750-kilometre drive for Hungarian products
The Metsä Tissue Hungary Kft. team won the 13th Coop Rally, the 300 participants of which visited 8 locations to get to know various FMCG companies better. Minister of Agriculture Dr István Nagy was the patron of the event. On 12 and 13 September 2018 nearly 100 teams with 105 cars and 3 media buses drove around West Hungary in the Coop Rally. At the closing ceremony László Pekó, a member of CO-OP Hungary Zrt.’s board of directors told that the programme has become a brand by now and it has reached the goal it set at the outset: promoting excellent Hungarian products.
Lajos Bognár, deputy secretary of state from the Ministry of Agriculture spoke about Hungarian food products standing for reliability and high quality. He told that the popularity of Hungarian products had grown and shoppers had become more conscious, but there was still a lot of work to do. This is why there will be a Coop Rally in 2019 as well, somewhere in East Hungary. //
