Colours influence people’s flavour perception
Tork’s experts, in cooperation with food stylist Linda Lundgren, developed a recommendation for restaurant owners, how to maximise the enjoyment level of food with the help of napkin and table setting colours. For instance strawberry mousse tastes richer and sweeter if it comes with a pink napkin. Light grey, cream-coloured and white napkins go well with spicy food. If the colour of food harmonises with the colour of the table setting, the restaurant experience of guests increases.
Tork offers a wide range of table setting products. For instance premium-quality TorkLinStyle® napkins can turn any meal into a luxury treat. Natural napkins are 100-percent recycled, they contain no bleach or dye – they are the perfect choice for environmentally conscious restaurants to accompany organic food. All of these products and many others will be on display at the Tork stand at the Sirha Budapest 2018 trade show. Tork will present those who register with a gift. (x)
