Cofidis: the willingness of Hungarians to borrow has increased
Hungarians’ willingness to borrow has grown: 12 percent of those surveyed plan to take out a loan in the next year, up 5 percentage points from last August, according to a representative survey by Cofidis Hitel Monitor in the first quarter of 2022, the details of which were reported to MTI on Tuesday.

Hungarians’ willingness to borrow has grown on an annual basis
Eleven percent of respondents would take a loan to balance their family budget. Typically, mention was made of an unexpected, larger expense, such as a boiler replacement, that they would not be able to pay in one lump sum. (MTI)
