John Lewis Tests ‘Click And Collect’ Service With Co-op
The move is part of John Lewis & Partners’ strategy to reach more customers by leveraging its supply chain.
The service will be extended to five Co-op food stores by the end of the month, Co-op said in its statement.
New and existing customers will gain access to next-day Click & Collect service in areas where the John Lewis Partnership has a lower store count.
Mark Pettigrew, Co-op Director of Innovation and Format, said, “It is all about developing ease, convenience, and choice for today’s time-pressed shopper.”
“Innovations and new technologies are driving a number of initiatives and creating value in our communities through increased offers and services for our members and customers,” he explained.
