Celebrating cheese
The 1st SZEGA Cheese Festival of Nations was a great success. It was a milestone event as the International Guild of Cheese Masters, which has 6,000 members from 40 countries, has established its Hungarian Lodge – thanks to this step Hungarian cheese varieties will have stronger presence on the international stage. There was also a competition in the festival’s programme, where Baracska semi-hard cheese finished first and qualified for the 2019 Mondial du Fromage – told Ádám Gábossy, managing director of the festival’s organiser SZEGA Camembert Kft. //
