The goal is to develop the food industry
This year is about inflation, and our task is to break it down, and we are on the right track, said Dr. Márton Nobilis, the Secretary of State responsible for the food industry and trade policy of the Ministry of Agriculture of the IX. At the Agora conference in Etyek.
The State Secretary explained that, in order to reduce inflation, special attention was paid to the protection of Hungarian products. A key goal was not to go in the direction of bringing in imported products as a result of the fall in inflation, since Hungary is a country with excellent capabilities here in the heart of the Carpathian Basin, he added.
All food producers must be supported to succeed
Dr. Márton Nobilis drew attention to the fact that the food industry can be made successful if there are Hungarian food manufacturing companies that take the little ones with them. Therefore, the motto of this period is that if we support our national champions, we support everyone. The state secretary added that the past year was not easy, he had to deal with an extraordinary number of rapidly changing things, but despite the difficulties, we will not end the year with a bad year. I am confident that in the coming year we will be even more successful and that more and more Hungarian products will appear in Hungarian retail chains, on the shelves of stores.
