Majority of managers don’t think that IT investment will increase this year
According to a survey conducted by Rentasystem about the IT investment plans of SMEs and large companies, firms replace their IT devices less frequently than before: instead of every 1-2 years only after 2-4 or 4-8 years. The majority of businesses still buy new devices in an ad hoc fashion. Demand for software dropped from 37.2 percent to 24.8 percent. About 60 percent of company heads said their IT investments wouldn’t grow – this is a higher proportion than in any of the last 4 years. Companies tend to spend 1-2 percent of their revenue on IT development and this sum isn’t likely to change. //
