CBA: foreign companies were established to promote the Hungarian products abroad

Some owners of CBA have established foreign companies in order to promote Hungarian products beyond the borders of the country – responded Fodor Attila, head of communications at CBA Kereskedelmi Kft. to the article of Népszabadság published on Friday.

Népszabadság wrote that the number of foreign companies increased, that can be linked to the executive board of the CBA supermarket chain. These companies’ biggest advantage is tax optimization.

Fodor Attila told to MTI that they strongly reject these allegations.

As he wrote, “As we informed previously, the CBA has taken serious steps in order to transmit Hungarian products beyond the borders of the country. Some of the owners really established foreign companies to reach this goal.” It is not a secret and this is not a new informations, since these datas are publicly available – he added. (MTI)
