Candy, the traditional Italian home appliance brand, celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. The brand, which has become synonymous with style, innovation and affordable technology, continues to create with the same vigor today as it did in 1945, when it introduced Italy’s first domestically designed washing machine. Since then, the Candy name has been intertwined with household innovation and has continuously shaped the comfort and functionality of homes.

The brand has now become one of the world’s best-known home appliance manufacturers and has been a member of the world-leading Haier Smart Home group since 2019. Distribution in Hungary is carried out by Candy Hoover Hungary Kft., the domestic subsidiary of Haier Europe.

Candy has always been a pioneer in technological innovation. Today, the brand’s products feature intelligent features such as simply-Fi or the hOn app, which truly bring the concept of the ‘smart home’ to life.

In line with the ‘Ready to Live’ renewal in 2024, Candy is entering the market with a new visual identity and design. Candy Fresco refrigerators with advanced airflow technology, Candy Bake ovens with no preheating function, or Candy Rapido’ dishwasher with its record-breaking 35-minute program all aim to make home life more comfortable, more conscious and more joyful.
