More than 80 percent of wheat has been harvested in Zala county, the average yield is 15-20 percent lower than in the previous year, the county president of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI on Friday.
The harvest of rapeseed on 15 610 hectares has already been completed, with an average yield of almost 2.9 tons per hectare. Farmers also carried out the harvesting of autumn barley on nearly 5 thousand hectares where 25 thousand tons of barley yielded yielded. The average yield per hectare was 5 tons, while last year, an average of 5.7 tons of barley was produced per hectare – Süle Katalin said. (MTI)
