Bulgaria turns to the European Commission
Bulgaria urges the Commission to declare, that the multinational companies deliver lower quality food to the new EU member states – reports the EurActiv news agency.
The debate broke out after the research of the Slovakian consumer protection authority, that examined the quality of food, transported to EU countries. Some companies admitted that they work with cheaper raw materials in Eastern Europe, but they claim that it does not affect the taste and quality – reports origo.
