Budapest is cheap, but Vienna and Prague are still more popular
The same hotel room in Vienna, costs more than twice and in Prague one and a half times more expensive than in Budapest in 2011.
The race lasts for a long time in the regional hotel market, both in prices and utilization, but mostly in the number of nights spent. The race typically takes place between the capital cities. Budapest is still lagging behind, compared to Vienna and to Prague – reports portfolio.hu.
