Budapest Bank: Hungarian families spend 30 thousand HUF more on holiday this year
The Hungarian families spend 30 thousand forints more on holiday this year, while the holiday period increased from 8 to 9 days, compared to the same period of the last year – according to the representative survey of the Budapest Bank.
Still about 48 percent of the Hungarian population goes to vacation this summer, usually in July or in August. In addition to the Lake Balaton and other inland destinations the proportion of those who spend their vacation near an European sea rose from 16 percent to 23 percent. (MTI).
