Gyula Budai: the Russian embargo was bad for Hungary and Britain
The Russian embargo had a profound impact on the Hungarian economy and the British economy also faced significant negative effects because of the restrictive measures imposed on Russia – Budai Gyula, Ministerial Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade (KKM) told in London.
The Ministerial Commissioner negotiated with Michael Tatham, Director of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) responsible for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, as well as environmental protection, and with Dagmar Droogsma deputy director responsible for the budget and agricultural strategy of the EU as well as with Tim Morden, deputy director in charge of farming.
